At Magnolia Woodman Child Care (Popescu Family Child Care), we offer specialized programs tailored to meet the developmental needs of each age group. Our goal is to create a nurturing and engaging environment where every child can thrive and grow.

Age Groups

Infants (10 months - 18 months)
Our infant program provides a warm and caring environment where your little one will receive individualized attention. We focus on creating a safe and stimulating space that promotes sensory exploration and early developmental milestones.

Toddlers (18 months - 3 years)
In our toddler program, children are encouraged to explore and
discover through play-based learning. We support their growing independence with activities that foster language development, social skills, and motor coordination. Potty training supported.

Preschoolers (3 years - 6 years)
Our preschool program prepares children for the next steps in their educational journey. We offer a rich curriculum that includes early literacy, math concepts, science exploration, and creative arts. Our goal is to cultivate a love of learning and readiness for kindergarten.

Daily Schedule

We have a year round program. A typical day at Magnolia Woodman Child Care (Popescu Family Child Care) is filled with a variety of engaging activities designed to support all areas of development.

Morning:
● 8:00 AM - Arrival and Free Play: Children are welcomed into a safe and stimulating environment where they can choose activities and interact with their peers. Playtime maybe indoors and/or outdoors (depending on the weather).
● 9:00 AM - Circle Time: Songs, stories, and discussions that promote language and social skills.
● 9:30 AM - Breakfast Time: Nutritious breakfast meals to fuel growing bodies.

● 10:00 AM - Learning Centers: Rotating activities that include art, science, sensory play, and dramatic play (Math, English, and Social Studies).
● 10:30 AM - Outdoor Play: Physical activities and exploration in our safe, spacious outdoor area.
● 12:00 PM - Structured Activities - Music Lessons, Gymnastics, Dance Class, Computer Class, Swim Lessons, Cooking Class (different activity each day).

Afternoon:
● 12:30 PM - Lunch Time: Homemade meals that are both nutritious and delicious.
● 1:00 PM - Nap Time/Quiet Time: A restful period to recharge.
● 3:00 PM - Wake up Time:
● 3:30 PM - Snack Time: Fruit or vegetable snacks.
● 4:30 PM - Dinner Time:
● 5:00 PM - Free Play and Pick-Up: Children can choose their favorite activities until it's time to go home (indoor or outdoor).

We do not close our child care for winter, spring, and summer vacations because we have a year round program.
